Base Raiding
Base raiding is gaining access to another player or group’s secured area by either destroying their constructed walls, gates, fences, doors or other barriers, or by otherwise entering via unsecured spaces or entrances.
Contructed barriers (walls etc.) can be destroyed by either ballistic damage (shooting them) or explosive damage via grenades or pipe bombs (pipe bombs coming soon)
Barrier Strength
Barriers are constructed of either vanilla fences and gates, or SPUDS walls, gates, doors and roofing.
Wood-panelled vanilla gates and fences are the base level of construction, with metal-reinforced being 50% tougher.
SPUDS structures, intended for stand-alone construction, are 3 times stronger than vanilla.
Gate Raiding
To encourage gate/door/fence raiding, ballistic damage to walls and fences is reduced to one third of damage done to gates/doors/fences.
Rules
‘Glitching’ rules apply here (See the Glitching article) – this includes ‘glitching’ through impermeable barriers to gain intelligence of the inside of a base.
Admins actively monitor for infractions and will penalise on the spot.
